Online Registration
Parents:
Registration of classes for the 2012 - 13 school year will be starting this January. Powerschool provides the capability to register for high school courses online.
Starting with the January 26th Advisory, students will learn about course options for next school year and receive a registration form and a worksheet. Students will use this registration form to request their courses , speak to their parents and current teachers about their core classes and plan the number of classes they wish to take each trimester, prior to their individual meeting with their counselor.
All students (grades 8 - 11) must register for their high school courses online.

The juniors (next year's 12th graders) will register first, followed by sophomores, then the freshmen.
The Program of Studies which has all the course descriptions are available online.
Students can register for classes online. The schedule worksheet will be helpful to your student for this task. Power School username and password is required for the online registration process. You will be able to see the courses that students have chosen through your Powerschool log-in under Class Registration.

Students:
Review the Program of Studies, consult with your parents, teachers, and counselor on the appropriate courses in which you should enroll. Be sure about the courses you choose because there will BE NO SCHEDULE CHANGES once the school year starts!
During these next weeks, IF you make additional changes online and it DIFFERS from the courses on the registration form you submitted during your individual meeting with your counselor, it is your responsibility to let your counselor know of the change and it can be corrected on the form you submitted.
You make course requests for the next school year online through Powerschool.
Steps for Online Registration:
- Across the top of the page is the Class Registration. Click this icon to register for your classes.
- Under each department, choose the courses in that you want to take for next school year.
- Click the edit button on the right to see the courses available and request a course.
- Remember to choose all three trimesters for year-long courses:
- 100s (1st trimester)
- 400s (2nd trimester)
- 700s (3rd trimester)
- For trimester-long courses, you may choose the specific trimester you want the course by choosing the specific course number.
- 100s (1st trimester)
- 400s (2nd trimester)
- 700s (3rd trimester)
- Once you've made all your course selections, be sure to press Submit at the bottom of the page.
